Over a year has passed since Gaelin Arcos, a young adventurer, and the ousted princess of Tashel, Lily, met each other and began their journey together. Still recovering from the near fatal wound she suffered at the hands of a deranged serial killer in Sanc Aldet, Lily is driven to finding a cure to her cursed injury, as well as rising high into the ranks of the Adventurer's Guild so she can plan a counter attack and reclaim her lost throne. Gaelin, for his part, still feels a crippling sense of guilt at his failure to protect Lily from the murderer's blade, and has become extremely devoted and fiercely protective of the young princess. What started as a desire to sail down the Crawling Coast to reach the city of Riggs, known to sell everything in the known world, in search of a cure, ends up turning into an adventure on the high seas, as the pair crash head-first into pirates, illegal weapons, and a Druid with a talking bear as her companion. They can never have a normal adventure, can they?
